All cancellations must be submitted in writing and include your booking reference number.
2. Cruise Line Cancellation Rules
Each cruise line has its own cancellation policies based on:
- Destination and duration
- Type of fare (refundable or non-refundable)
- Promotional or limited-time offers
We follow the cruise line’s policy as it stands at the time of booking.
3. Typical Cancellation Schedule
The table below outlines a general industry-standard cancellation schedule. Your specific cancellation terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Days Before Departure | Cancellation Fee |
---|---|
90+ Days | Loss of deposit |
89–57 Days | 25% of total fare |
56–30 Days | 50% of total fare |
29–15 Days | 75% of total fare |
14 Days or Less | 100% of total fare |
*“Total fare” includes cruise price, port charges, and applicable taxes.
4. Late Cancellations & No-Shows
- Cancellations made within 14 days of sailing or failure to show up for your cruise will result in a 100% cancellation charge.
- No refunds will be provided in these cases. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.
5. Cruisent.com Booking Fees
Any service or processing fees charged by Cruisent.com at the time of booking are non-refundable, regardless of cancellation reason.
6. Flights, Excursions & Other Add-ons
Any flights, transfers, shore excursions, or third-party services booked through or outside Cruisent.com are subject to separate cancellation terms as specified by the provider.
7. Changes and Rebooking
- Some changes (e.g., switching sailing dates, cabins, or names) may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
- Change requests are subject to availability and applicable fare differences.
8. Force Majeure Events
Cruise lines reserve the right to modify itineraries, delay departures, or cancel sailings due to events beyond their control, such as:
- Natural disasters
- Weather disturbances
- Government restrictions
- Mechanical or operational issues
In such cases, compensation is determined solely by the cruise line. Cruisent.com is not liable for disruptions caused by force majeure events.
9. Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or interruptions. Travel insurance may help recover non-refundable charges depending on your coverage.
